  • Bio-Research Products, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Bryce A. Cunningham, Ph.D., to meet the needs of diagnostic reagent manufacturers for wheat germ phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC). The company's former laboratories were one of the first incubating enterprises of the University of Iowa Technology Innovation Center, located on the Oakdale Campus.


    Dr. Cunningham is the owner, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Scientific Officer. He holds patents on the kinetic assay of serum bicarbonate based on wheat germ PEPC (US Pat. No. 5,429,930 and 5,480,777). Additional members of the research team include scientists that are experts in protein purification, characterization and analysis.
